You have to be very careful with dosing THC in some cannabis edibles

You should constantly be very careful when you’re trying new medications.

If it’s something that could actually give you a negative side effect, it might be a wonderful move to take a small dose the first time.

I’ll never forget the first time when I saw a psychiatrist after failing to keep my anxieties under control and struggling to function through my busy workdays. I didn’t go to the psychiatrist to pick up any medication, it was only the first step the therapy center told me to take before choosing what kind of therapy would be the most wonderful for me with whatever my needs might be. Instead of giving me a benzodiazepine, he told me to try using this drug called Buspar. I was told that it wasn’t nearly as strong as something like xanax and much safer, however that was a lie. I took it before heading to my place of work a single morning and started feeling completely intoxicated towards the end of my vehicle ride on the way to the office. It was truly frightening because I thought I was going to have to pull the vehicle off the road. Moments later I saw the sign for the side street that leads to my office and I breathed a huge sigh of relief. By dinner the Buspar pill had worn off and I made the choice to never take the medication again. The same thing happened when I got a medical marijuana card and started trying cannabis edibles for anxiety. I was never even told about how much THC I should take at once and I ended up eating 100mg of THC separate from knowing how insanely high that is for a beginner. It was several hours of a scary nightmare that ended with me easily passing out on my couch until the following day.
