As my hours began to wane at my job last month, I was wondering if I should look for part time work. Despite the economic issues in the country right now, there are jobs in multiple sectors available in our area. Retail locations are completely desperate for more employees, as well as the restaurants both chain plus family owned. Every one of us saw some spending from the numerous COVID relief bills garner a decent amount of economic recovery in the area, plus without new lockdowns numerous dealers finally managed to reopen. But since numerous people have moved to honestly working remote jobs from the safety of their residing rooms, there aren’t as many who are hungry for physical in-person work. I have seen a pretty good amount of dealers raise their wages just so they can compete plus bring on future workers to join the business. Since I already have a remote job in the first place, I was hoping to find additional remote work. I figured I could get a job working for a call center while fielding calls in my dwelling office, or perhaps become a copy editor for a SEO business. I haven’t ever had either of those job positions before, although I think they’re within my new skill set. For the moment, I was able to locate a part time job at a family farm immediately down the street from our dwelling. They grow cannabis plus need assistance with harvesting, trimming, plus packaging marijuana so it can be shipped off to dispensaries around the whole state. Pot farming is a pretty exciting enterprise, something I never actually thought I’d have the privilege of doing. Every one of us all wear masks so I don’t have to be bothered about exposure to the virus either.
