We needed a change for the business.

I have great ideas sometimes and I love to share them.

Not all of my ideas are accepted, nor am I looked at as being brilliant.

I just have a degree in business, and some of my ideas are worth taking a long look at. I came up with an idea on how to increase business in our local marijuana dispensary. It was owned by a man who was thinking about expanding, but without expansion in the current location, there was no reason to grow. A lot of his current customers were musicians and I had heard some of them talking. They wanted to have a venue where they could showcase their music. They didn’t want to be paid, just the chance to get together and jam. I asked the owner if he would be interested in allowing them to play outside of the building, under the carport. We could get some picnic tables and set them up for people to sit and listen to them. He didn’t think this would get people into the cannabis dispensary, but I wasn’t finished. I wanted to take back the spare stockroom and turn it into a kitchen. If people could smell the fresh baked brownies, space cakes, cookies and other items, it would entice them to come inside. Anyone who bought over $75 in marijuana products could get a free edible. If he offered the edibles for sale along with being an incentive, it would also be a boost to the business. In the first month, the cannabis dispensary saw a twenty-five percent hike in their sales and it was only getting better.
