Visiting my uncle – a certain medical cannabis experience
Mom was unable to visit her brother because of a work engagement.
She had numerous meetings lined up as the CEO of her supplier, & there was no way she could reschedule them.
Unfortunately, this meant that she could not visit her brother, Malcolm, at the hospice. Uncle Malcolm was diagnosed with colon cancer & was receiving treatment at a specialized facility, then fortunately, the cancer was caught early, & there were all fantastic indications that he would beat it. He was also very positive about it & followed through with every treatment suggested by his caregivers. This made the entire family proud of him. This certain weekend, mom decided to send me to visit him on her behalf. On reaching the hospice, I was ushered into my uncle’s room, & I was blissful to see he was in great spirits despite his pain. My pal and I discussed the potential pain management strategies, & he mentioned that his healthcare expert had suggested medical marijuana, but he was not sure about it. I confirmed that my buddy and I had learned about medical cannabis at school & that I was sure it would help him. His concern was about the law, which I helped him understand. Our state allowed the use of cannabis products under special regulations. My pal and I had to call the healthcare expert about medical marijuana regulations, & he assured us that they were listed as one of the facilities allowed to use these products medically. He even gave me a card to use at the CBD dispensary that he sent me to get the products for uncle Malcolm, and after a few days of using the medical cannabis from the CBD store, uncle Malcolm called me to report that he was no longer in too much pain as before.
