Took an unexpected cannabis dispensary adventure
It’s weird not having mom and dad together any longer. My mother passed not quite 3 years ago pretty suddenly. At least she wasn’t sick for long and she didn’t have to suffer. But the absence of my mom is tough to deal with and even tougher on my dad. My dad and I are buddies. Although he was still very much a strict dad when I was growing up. He busted me so hard for a recreational marijuana episode that I didn’t touch cannabis products again until my junior year in college. But since then, I’ve found life to be a bit sweeter with a certain amount of sativa products in it. Yet where I live, recreational marijuana is still illegal. So when I went to visit my dad, I thought I might try to get to a cannabis dispensary since it’s all legal in his state. The idea was that I’d just swing by on my way in our on my way out of town. But there was a cannabis dispensary adventure yet to be had. My dad retired a year ago and moved to a golf course community out of state. What I didn’t know was that he had also found recreational marijuana. I found this out when, on the way to lunch one afternoon, he asked me to whip over to the local cannabis spot. Well, I was stunned and I followed my grinning old man into the marijuana business. My dad had used cannabis products all along and I didn’t even know it. Now that it was legal in his state and he was retired, he didn’t care who knew that he enjoyed recreational marijuana.
