There’s plenty to learn

I’m trying to convince our buddy to try cannabis for his own sake.

He had to have back surgery & he’s in a lot of pain everyday.

Unfortunately, he is outright refusing to take the prescription painkillers that the doctor in the hospital prescribed for him to manage it. I understand where he’s coming from, but he’s writhing in pain in defiance of pills. That’s when I decided to have a talk with him about our cannabis use. He certainly knows that I’ve been using cannabis ever since all of us met each other in school many years ago, however he has never had any interest in trying the plant. I have been telling him basically from day 1 that it’s a better drug to use recreationally than alcohol… and he didn’t care. I think it had something to do with the illegality of the substance, or it was simply a preconceived bias against its use. Whatever the reason, our buddy never honestly wanted to use cannabis no matter how often I provided. Since he doesn’t want to regularly use opiates to treat his pain, I urged him to study more about marijuana on modern cannabis dispensary websites. Many of the marijuana stores have big, well designed web pages devoted to FAQs regarding cannabis & cannabis use. After a single week of continued pain, our buddy relented & called me begging that I bring a batch of cannabis over him to try. I was happy & dropped everything to drive to his entire house. He was having a muscle spasm & was in rough shape. After he took a few small drags off the marijuana joint I rolled, he relaxed into the couch but said little. A few long minutes went by & he looked at me directly & said that he has literally never felt more relieved in his entire life.
