The worst part of the day is always the morning for me
I really am not a morning person.
- I worked nights when I was in college and I absolutely love the job.
Unfortunately, there aren’t very many careers that allow you to work only at night. I Started working at a marijuana delivery and dispensary service after college ended. I knew it was going to be very important to get everything completed and done before school was over. I wanted to get a budtender license and certification. The class online was only a hundred bucks and they reimburse the money if you found a job at a marijuana dispensary within 3 weeks. I passed that class and all of the tests and I got a link to print out a diploma. It was cheesy but it worked. It absolutely helped me get a job at a medical and recreational marijuana dispensary. Eventually I was promoted to the management position and that meant working during the day. I still find it difficult to wake up in the morning. There are some days when I am late and the store does not open on time. My boss doesn’t say much when that happens. She knows that I am not a person that enjoys working in the morning. I wanted her to put me on the night shift, but she said that all of the management people have to work the day shift while they are training. Hopefully I will be able to move to a second or third shift position when I am finished with the program. I wouldn’t be too unhappy working until midnight and not getting up until ten every day.
