The Regal Cinema was silent except for the guy coughing and hacking
My spouse and I decided to take the kids to the movies a few weeks ago! All of us went on opening night to take the kids to see the new Disney and Pixar movie, but i knew that the Regal Cinema was going to be crowded and filled with people.
- I told our spouse that the two of us needed to arrive early in order to get seats in the middle where the two of us would have a fantastic view, but when the two of us arrived at the theater, the men decided that they wanted to rest all the way in the last row at the back of the theater.
I did not mind resting back there. I did not mind the seating arrangement at all, as long as the two of us were not right up underneath the screen. I was afraid that would happen if the two of us showed up late, and the theater filled up really hastily and it wasn’t long before people were searching for a seat here and a seat there. The kids had eaten most of their popcorn by the time the movie started. When the lights went down and the sound came on, I started hearing the sound of a person that was coughing loudly. I could tell that the direction of the coughing person was coming from the front of the room. Then I saw a light yellow flashing light. Then I heard more coughing. It wasn’t really difficult for me to realize that the person who was coughing and hacking was smoking recreational and medical marijuana in the theater. I told our spouse that I was going to get up and I would be right back; She told me not to get in the middle of it, however the two of us were watching a kids movie and I did not assume it was appropriate for someone to be using marijuana products in the theater.
