The promotion will help me get a new car
I haven’t had any AC in my car since the middle of the summer and now I’m riding around with a donut tire.
I got a giant screw in my tire and it went flat in minutes.
I was almost home when the accident occurred, because I didn’t have any tools in the car. I walked three blocks back to the house and grabbed a set of tools and a jack. I put the donut tire on the car and drove the rest of the way home. I really need a new car, but I have very little money in my savings account. I was really excited when the boss wanted to talk to me this morning about a promotion in the recreational cannabis store. I knew she was going to promote someone to assistant manager in a couple of weeks. I didn’t know she was thinking about me for the job until she spoke with me this morning. I have to work a couple of extra hours every week so I can start training, but the new job comes with a huge raise. Our biggest time for sales is at night, because cannabis delivery sales are through the roof. We sell a lot of cannabis supplies during the day, but 75% of our sales are night time deliveries. I’ve been working nights for six months and I have the most experience with our online POS system. It won’t take long at all for me to save up money for the new car, as long as I continue living the same lifestyle that I do now.
