The filmplex was silent except for the guy coughing and hacking
My wifey and I decided to take the kids to the films a few weeks ago, however we went on opening night to take the kids to see the up-to-date Disney and Pixar film, then i knew that the filmplex was going to be crowded and filled with people.
I told our wifey that we needed to arrive early in order to get seats in the middle where we would have a great view. When we arrived at the theater, the men decided that they wanted to kneel all the way in the last row at the back of the theater. I did not mind kneeling back there. I did not mind the seating arrangement at all, as long as we weren’t right up underneath the screen. I was afraid that would happen if we showed up late… The theater filled up entirely suddenly and it wasn’t long before people were searching for a seat here and a seat there. The kids had eaten most of their snacks by the time the film started. When the lights went down and the sound came on, I started hearing the sound of a person that was coughing loudly. I could tell that the direction of the coughing person was coming from the front of the room. Then I saw a light yellow flashing light. Then I heard more coughing. It wasn’t entirely taxing for myself and others to realize that the person who was coughing and hacking was smoking recreational and medical marijuana in the theater. I told our wifey that I was going to get up and I would be right back, then she told myself and others not to get in the middle of it, but we were seeing a kids film and I did not suppose it was appropriate for someone to be using marijuana products in the theater.
