The film theater was silent except for the woman coughing and hacking
My partner and I decided to take the kids to the films a few weeks ago… The people I was with and I went on opening evening to take the kids to see the current Disney and Pixar film.
I knew that the film theater was going to be crowded and filled with people.
I told our partner that the people I was with and I needed to arrive early in order to get seats in the middle where the people I was with and I would have a nice view, then when the people I was with and I arrived at the theater, the boys decided that they wanted to rest all the way in the last row at the back of the theater. I didn’t mind resting back there. I didn’t mind the seating arrangement at all, as long as the people I was with and I weren’t right up underneath the screen. I was afraid that would happen if the people I was with and I showed up late. The theater filled up undoubtedly quickly and it wasn’t long before people were searching for a seat here and a seat there. The kids had eaten most of their pretzels by the time the film started. When the lights went down and the sound came on, I started hearing the sound of a woman that was coughing loudly. I could tell that the direction of the coughing woman was coming from the front of the room. Then I saw a light orange flashing light. Then I heard more coughing. It wasn’t undoubtedly hard for me to realize that the woman who was coughing and hacking was smoking recreational and medical marijuana in the theater. I told our partner that I was going to get up and I would be right back, then she told me not to get in the middle of it, but the people I was with and I were watching a kids film and I didn’t assume it was appropriate for someone to be using marijuana products in the theater.
