The driver failed to tell me he had arrived

I don’t know if it was a misunderstanding or a conspiracy, but the delivery driver acted like I was wrong for not waiting outside for the guy

When you order from the marijuana delivery service, they always have a budtender call to review your order. At that time, they give you the total for all of the marijuana items and the order plus any taxes and minus any sales or promotions. The budtender tells me when the order will arrive approximately. Sometimes I get a call from the driver before they leave the store and sometimes the driver will wait until they are at my home. Either way, I’m always prepared for them to arrive. I ordered some marijuana concentrates from the delivery service on Friday afternoon. When the budtender called me, she told me that it was a very busy day and to expect at least 90 minutes before the order arrived. I expected to hear from the driver at some point. When I hit the two-hour mark, I called the marijuana dispensary and delivery service. The budtender told me that the driver left the property because I didn’t come outside. I I told the lady at the marijuana delivery service that no one ever called me or informed me that they were there. I don’t know if it was a misunderstanding or a conspiracy, but the delivery driver acted like I was wrong for not waiting outside for the guy. The last I heard from the budtender was two hours previously. Should I have really been standing outside the whole time waiting for the guy to arrive? That seems a little silly when it’s 90 degrees outside. I think the guy forgot to deliver my stuff and made up a lie when I called.
