The delivery driver got a flat tire

My girlfriend and I were hanging out at home on Thursday and we decided to order some items from the marijuana dispensary a couple of miles away from our apartment. We’ve ordered from this particular dispensary in the past. They usually have a sale on something decent and we always get a good price on marijuana concentrate and dried flower products. My girlfriend placed our order online. We received a text message confirmation with an estimated time of arrival for the delivery driver. When an hour had passed, my girlfriend contacted the marijuana dispensary. The dispensary manager told us that the driver left the store a long time ago. The manager said she would contact the driver and call us back. About 15 minutes later, the delivery driver arrived. The guy got a flat tire on the country road that leads to our home and he didn’t have cell phone service in that particular area. The guy was delayed, but he had our order and a really good reason why he was late. When the driver arrived, we told the guy that we contacted the manager. He used the telephone in my house to call the marijuana dispensary. He informed the manager that he was going to finish the rest of the deliveries and head back to the store. I’ve had a flat tire 5 or 6 different times in my life and they never seem to occur at the right time. I felt bad for the driver and I knew exactly how he must have felt sitting on the side of the road with no cell phone signal and a flat tire.
