Since I’ve constantly considered myself more of a gourmet cook rather than a baker, I am pushing myself to get better at the latter. I ordered myself a modern standmixer for our living room and I’ve been using it for a whole range of strange dishes and treats. Last night I made a batch of biscuits from scratch and you know, tonight I’m making pizza dough for the first time ever. I spent our supper at labor today searching the internet high and low for recipes and after that I picked up the ingredients from the local grocery store on our way home. But I wanted to get more than just flour, yeast, salt, baking soda, and spices. I had a dessert in mind that required getting a ton of sugar and cocoa powder. I’m a massive brownie fan, although I had never honestly tried to make them from scratch before. If everything goes according to plan, I guess I will be making a batch of brownies after our pizza is finished cooking. But… well, I’m not just making any kind of brownies, I’m making brownies infused with super high THC marijuana oil. I was buying them from the dispensary whenever I realized that I could get a syringe of high THC cannabis distillate oil to make them for myself at home while saving a ton of currency in the process. Usually I get a batch of regular store purchased brownie mix, but I’m excited to be making the brownies completely from scratch tonight for a change.
