Since I’ve regularly considered myself more of a hobbiest cook rather than a baker, I am pushing myself to get better at the latter. I recently ordered a new standmixer for our entryway & I’ve been using it for a whole host of delightful odd dishes & treats. Last night I made a batch of biscuits from scratch & tonight I’m planning on making pizza dough for the first time ever. I spent our lunch split at task this week carefully searching the internet for recipes & after that I picked up the ingredients from the best grocery store on our way home. But I wanted to get more than just flour, salt, baking soda, baking powder, & spices. I had a dessert in mind that required getting brown sugar & cocoa powder. I’m a big brownie fan, however I had never tried to make them in my own kitchen from scratch before. If everything goes according to plan, I will be making a heavy batch of brownies after our pizza is finished cooking. But I’m not just making any kind of delicious brownies, I’m making brownies infused with high THC marijuana oil. To this very day, classic pot brownies are our preferred kind of cannabis edible. I was going out and buying them from the dispensary when I realized that I could get an affordable syringe of high THC cannabis distillate oil to make them at the house while saving a ton of cash in the process. Usually I get a batch of store bought plain old brownie mix, but I’m excited to be making the brownies from scratch tonight for a change.
