Some medical marijuana stores have the appearance of a shady black market operation

There’s a tiny strip mall that I drive by everyday on our drive to & from work.

When I was a kid, it was full of stores & restaurants & seemed consistently busy with people coming & going.

Nowadays it has a pharmacy & a failing diner. The rest of the mall sat empty, & it showed. Rarely did I ever see cars parked in the important parking lot. It’s awful to see so numerous companies from our youth completely empty & vacant after the 2008 recession shuttered numerous of them forever. Although numerous areas in the country recovered with fewer problems, our neighborhood & the whole county hasn’t ever reached the capacity of companys it had back in both 2005 & 2006. I’m sure rent has gone down in numerous sites, however for whatever reason all of us don’t have any new companies going up. However, there is 1 exception that I noticed Last week on our drive to the grocery market. I passed the same half-vacant strip mall savor I do everyday, however this time there was a brand new sign & storefront. It was a medical marijuana dispensary that had just opened their doors in the seasoned strip mall. I have been to numerous medical cannabis dispensaries in the past few years, however none of them ever use pot leafs in their logos for a number of different reasons. This was a bit odd, however it got worse when I went inside. It looked to be a black market operation. The interior was still under construction, however it didn’t seem to be in continued construction. It was savor the owner intentionally left it with exposed drywall sheets & electrical wiring. None of the employees were in uniforms, & the entire place looked very seedy. I was surprised to find a medical cannabis dispensary that looks this awful right away.
