My mother didn’t like going places along with her condition
My mother was incredibly afraid to try anything new.
Every time she had to go to a new healthcare worker, or go anywhere strange, she would call as well as ask me to take her to the location. She was hard of hearing as well as barely able to see, as well as I provided her with plenty of comfort. She knew that as long as I was there, she would be completely safe. When the healthcare worker told her medical marijuana could potentially help with her glaucoma, she was glad. She had never even thought about smoking a cigarette, let alone trying marijnuana products. We walked over to the cannabis dispensary they had just opened up in our town. She wanted me to go along with her so she could actually walk. She didn’t want to have anyone mess with her, so she called me. Since she was not able to hear anymore, it was too straightforward for her to have an accident. The two of us got to the marijuana dispensary as well as we showed them her medical card. They started talking about the different products she could try, but she was unable to hear them. Once they found out, they brought out a young woman who could help her by speaking slowly as well as doing some sign language. I told them she was also plagued with really bad vision, which was why I was there. The people I was with and I were able to get the help she needed at the marijuana dispensary. I genuinely hope the medical marijuana is able to help her as well as the healthcare worker says it could.
