My family actually got along this year
The holidays were chill as well as relaxed this year.
It was seasonably warm, but my family made it much nicer.
The two of us normally have the truly opposite of what a person would call relaxed. The two of us are laid-back + neutral on our political beliefs. My parents as well as myself and all of my siblings have their own ideas about politics. The family often gathers together so we can celebrate holidays but the Gathering often results in a lot of fights plus shouting. This year I wanted things to be different. I was happy to see that cannabis was not an issue. Sometimes this is a volatile issue. Cannabis seems to be an item that all of us quickly agreed about regardless of our politics. Everyone believed that cannabis was ready for legalization. Family members were agreeing to this opinion. Cannabis is seen as medicine to lots of people because it is a harmless distraction no weird than beer or Grape Wine. One of my great aunts brought a serious bag of home-grown cannabis to our breakfast table. She rolled up a couple of joints and told all of us to take a pee. He was secretly growing some marijuana and I did not know it was on her property for multiple years. He believed the family was easily judgmental and would give her a hard time. We were all secretly enjoying our time with cannabis and it was one huge moment for all of us to realize that we were more alike than we thought.
