My current work position has some pretty enjoyable perks
I was unemployed for roughly 6 weeks before I finally found something new.
I honestly lost my work at a steakhouse when the location closed down for quarantine.
The steakhouse never recovered plus I don’t feel they ever will. I collected unemployment for that length of time I was out of work. I genuinely hated not actually working, however as soon as my unemployment was up, I started looking for something new. I put my resume in for so many different work assignments. I even applied with a temporary staffing agency. The temporary staffing agency called me a little while after I provided them with my resume. They had an opening for a temporary work assignment that could become permanent. I met with the owner of the supplier. The supplier sells marijuana at wholesale prices. My work happens to be in the fulfillment department. It is my responsibility to package the marijuana as it moves down the belt. I fill each bag with 3.5 grams of marijuana plus after that I run the bag through a machine that heat seals each bag. My current work has some fantastic perks also. There is regularly a lot of shake plus trim left over after the marijuana is packaged. Sometimes it is equal to an ounce or more of weed. All of the employees get to take the trim plus shake for free. I also get benefits like medical, dental, plus vision. My partner also qualified for the benefits program since I work at this awesome place. At the moment, I’m only working with the temp agency, however the manager said he wants to hire me for a full time position in the near future.
