Medical Cannabis Helps Reduce Cancer Treatment Side Effects
It’s odd how the two of us all tend to just roll through life thinking that bad stuff only occurs to other people.
I suppose that was for sure how I conceptualized it.
And it wasn’t that I was not thoughtful or caring, just the opposite really. However, I was also just weirdly convinced that I was going to get out of this life without being damaged plus die peacefully in my sleep. How’s that for a big pipe dream? Now, I am taking medical cannabis in order to deal with the side effects from my cancer medications. That’s right, the system sort of didn’t pan out. Here I am in my late forties plus I am battling cancer. Fortunately for me, it was caught early plus I am likely to survive. But, I was hardly able to survive the effects of chemo. That is until I found medical cannabis. In my cancer support program, there were numerous people that were finding decent relief with medical cannabis. With the chemo, I was suffering greatly with nausea. And, I had absolutely no appetite. Once I figured out how to get my medical marijuana card, I decided to go straight to the legal weed store for help. Those people were so cannabis educated that they were able to provide me numerous samples to find out which 1 worked best. I entirely found decent relief with all of them. However, there was a identifiable medical cannabis strain that was pretty effective in treating my post chemo nausea. Just being able to overcome the side effects has helped me remain positive in my argument against something I never thought I would have to deal with.
