It’s exciting to hear about new cannabis products coming out
The grocery stores have struggled quite a bit to keep products on the shelves during recent supply-line shortages.
- People actually believe that it’s because of COVID lockdowns at the moment, however a good amount of these shortages are the result of over a year of many causal factors that are all basically correlated in a single way or another.
One such example is actually lumber. The plants had to cut back on labor during the first lockdowns, driving the supply down tremendously and raising the cost of lumber. Once residential and commercial construction was able to resume in earnest last Autumn, the already dwindling lumber supply was reduced much further. I genuinely can’t imagine making an attempt to buy wood to build a deck or a tool shed, it would almost be cheaper or the same cost to have a professional do it at the end of the day. The marijuana dispensaries have struggled immensely with keeping stock on the shelves at all times too. I know that they had to cut back some of their labor during the pandemic also, however most of the dispensaries were able to transition without needing to cut jobs. Maybe it’s an increase in demand now that people are working typical business hours again and have for weeks straight, or perhaps there are other crucial factors I’m not aware of. Regardless, I have had to deal with low product inventory for a number of weeks at many cannabis dispensaries. I’m so gleeful that the nearby medical cannabis shop is unveiling modern marijuana products this week. They have developed their own version of the cannabis concentrate referred to as terpene sauce. I’m gleeful to try it out for myself.
