I didn’t realize how taxing it would be to try to grow plants outdoors in the deep south.
The sun intensity here is unimaginable when it’s compared to where I grew up in the northeast.
Back then the two of us had to put our flowers in direct sunshine if I wanted them to stay healthy. When I tried that down here, well, I lost a small crop of flowers that year. I started to do a little bit of research plus learned that many plants need indirect sunshine or partial shade while I was in the day, every day, otherwise they get scorched. Just moving them to locations with less constant brilliant sunshine solved many of my ongoing complications. I also bought big bushes plus tall shrubs to circle my garden to supply additional shade for my most delicate flower plants from the sun. Recently my state legalized cannabis for medical use plus gave patients the personal choice to grow up to 6 plants in their homes if they had a medical marijuana card. I didn’t realize it would be so damn straight-forward to find quality marijuana growing component on the internet now that it’s finally legal for recreational use in a number of bizarre states. And many of the states that only actually allow medical use of cannabis have provisions in locale to let patients grow their own organic medicine if they can’t afford to buy it. Unfortunately, the sun here is so intense that I realized I would really need to buy a cannabis grow box off the internet to grow the plants inside my own little house, these kits come with the high performance lights plus the growing medium used to perfectly germinate the cannabis seeds into healthy plants.
