I always check to see if the online prices at a dispensary include taxes or not. Around here, marijuana is taxed unquestionably heavily. It’s legal for medical plus recreational purposes, however they definitely make us pay for the right to be able to use it freely. Taxes in my county are 36% on the dollar. I tried to find marijuana shops that have the prices including taxes listed online. It’s just easier for me to be able to see the prices with taxes instead of being surprised later by the information. I ordered from a marijuana dispensary a couple of weeks ago. It was a brand new location plus they were offering free delivery on all orders. I checked on the website information page plus there was a note on the page that said all prices included taxes. I expected the total for my marijuana supplies to be $120. When the delivery driver arrived, she told me that the order total was $150. I was pretty particular a total should have been lower than that plus I wasn’t going to pay $30 more unless there was a reason. The driver told me that the prices in the checkout cart do not include tax. They are added later by the store. I was pretty aggravated plus aggravated when I found out that I did not have enough money for my order plus the taxes were not particularly included. I decided to cancel my whole order plus I contacted a strange dispensary that I have used in the past. They do not have the same selection, however they do not cheat me on the prices either.
