I was able to help my mother at the cannabis dispensary
My mother was totally afraid to try anything new.
- Every time she had to go to a current doctor, or go somewhere that was strange to her, she would call and ask me to take her along.
She was hard of hearing and barely able to see, and I provided her with nothing but comfort. She was aware that as long as I was there, she would be entirely safe. When the doctor told her medical marijuana could actually help with her glaucoma, she was perfectly blissful. She couldn’t actually believe that she could regain some of her sight, or even stop the loss of sight from growing entirely worse. She was honestly sad about trying medical marijuana. She had never even thought about smoking a cigarette, let alone trying some actual marijnuana. We walked over to the cannabis dispensary they had just opened up in our town. She wanted me to go along with her so she could walk. She didn’t want to have anyone bother her, so she called me. Since she couldn’t hear anymore, it was entirely easy for her to have an accident. We got to the marijuana dispensary and we showed them her medical card. They started explaining the different kinds of products she could try, but she was unable to hear them. Once they found out, they brought out a young guy who could help her by speaking extremely slowly and doing a bit of sign language. I told them she also struggled with poor vision, which was why I was there. We were able to get the help she was looking for at the marijuana dispensary. I honestly hope the medical marijuana is able to help her plus the doctor says it easily could.
