I didn’t know there was a medical cannabis store nearby
I have driven down these roads thousands of times.
When I close my eyes I could picture every single little detail.
Every store, every tree and even down to the small pothole that I have to avoid everyday. I thought that I knew everything about the small little town I lived in, but apparently, I was wrong. One day on my drive to work I happened to look out the window and I noticed there was a store I had not noticed before. It was a little hard to spot, because it was secluded and hidden behind a tree, but I continued on my way to work. On my way there, my curiosity burned and I turned back around to see what store it was. It was a medical cannabis store! I couldn’t believe there was a medical marijuana store in my town. My immediate first thought was to turn my nose up at whatever low lifes would be visiting a medical marijuana dispensary in my town. But then I realized how stupid of a thought that was, since I had never met these people, nor walked in their shoes. I don’t know their stories or their pain, or why they might be using vape products to begin with. I realized how narrow minded my original thought was, and I felt kind of bad. Instead I took home with me a cannabis education pamphlet which detailed cannabis rules and cannabis regulations, as well as cannabis knowledge. I ended up learning a lot more from that pamphlet, which not only helped my understanding, but it humbled me a bit as well.
