I didn’t expect to see my Dad at the pot shop
I have not told my parents that I started a modern job working at the pot shop! I did not believe how they would believe about myself and others working in a dispensary, then my mom has always been really vocal about her hate of marijuana.
My mom was on the Town Council when they voted to allow dispensaries in our community.
My mom voted against the idea, even though she was the only person in a group of 7 people that did not want to allow marijuana dispensaries in the community… When I found out that a marijuana dispensary was going to open at the edge of town, I decided to apply for a job as a budtender. I had an interview and the employer hired myself and others to work inside of the shop. I was really gleeful about the job, however I knew my mom and dad would not approve so I have been keeping the job a secret. I have been working at the pot shop for 3 months and last weekend my Dad found out that I was working at the dispensary, then fortunately, he found out because he was at the dispensary buying edibles. I knew my dad was happier lately and more relaxed, however I thought he was having an affair. To be honest, I am really ecstatic it’s just weed. My mom might not be ecstatic if she finds out that my dad is using cannabis products. When he saw myself and others working behind the counter, he looked really scared and upset, but every one of us talked in the parking lot and agreed that this is our little secret.
