Decided to start working at the cannabis shop
I didn’t have a lot of stuff when I was growing up, and I was pretty darn lucky to have what I did… After leaving the orphanage for a halfway house, I came to the realization that I needed to start making cash before I was sent out into the world on my own.
After I hit the tender age of 17 the state would kick me out to make room for other orphaned kids with no place to go.
I honestly did pretty good in school, however school was not in my future, so I needed to start hustling right away. Can you blame me for selling cannabis? It’s not as if I messed around with drugs or guns or anything that is problematic, it was just cannabis. Although the law and the government may have been telling us cannabis is dangerous, they were not being honest about that. Cannabis is not dangerous, it is one the greatest gifts ever provided to civilization, however it is only recently that it has become legally sanctioned. I never even felt immoral for selling cannabis, although I was most definitely nervous, because I did not have the wish to go to jail. Now that legalization has passed I can’t sell cannabis these days, because although I can’t head off to jail I also can’t compete with the cannabis stores. If you can’t beat them, join them, so I was able to get a job as a budtender at one of the cannabis dispensaries. I only have a high school diploma in terms of education, although I have multiple years of experience with selling cannabis. The cannabis dispensary is the only job in town where our history doesn’t actually work against me, it completely helps me!
