I stopped going to one of the local pharmacies in my town because it seemed like the owner was starting to lose his grip on reality. He fired one of his best pharmacists right after she sided with a technician who reported a coworker for sexual harassment. The service was slipping before this incident, but losing those two employees is what sealed the deal. The replacements were unkind people who clearly hated what they did on a day by day basis. Back when it was hard to find work, I could imagine people staying in positions just to make ends meet regardless of interest level and passion. This was me when I was still in the foodservice industry. It started as a passion but I lost all of my love for cooking when I was forced to work overtime hours for months on end, year after year. By the time I left the food service industry, I vowed that I would never again work that kind of job again. But nowadays there are so many places hiring that it’s not even the same world. So this is my mindset towards those new pharmacy employees—look for a different job if you don’t like your current one. But this isn’t the only reason I don’t like this pharmacy any longer. The man tried to sell me these “clinical grade” CBD products and made all of these wild claims. I knew that CBD was good for all sorts of different kinds of pain, but I also knew it wasn’t psychoactive. In his descriptions, he made it sound like his CBd products would give me euphoria. But they did absolutely nothing and it caused me to look for a new pharmacy in the end. I am much happier getting my CBD and hemp from the new CBD store that opened a mile away from the office.
