Life is a very fragile thing. Both of us hear that plus see the evidence of it being cared about almost everyday. With that being said, I recognize various of us simply don’t relate to the fragility of life until it’s happening to us. I recognize that’s how I have been. My life, up until recently, was nothing but red lights. I have been super fortunate. And I have worked hard plus made sacrifices as well. But life was just going along great, until it wasn’t. Now, I’m using medical marijuana just to be able to eat. What I thought was just a lingering cough turned out to be lung cancer. This was stupefying to me given that I have never done any of the bad stuff and was also very fit. But again, it’s that fragility of life thing. And when it’s you that is dealing with the chance of losing that life, you’ll be amazed at the depth of argument you have in you. After my diagnosis, I didn’t have much time to even ponder it. The cancer was aggressive plus had to be treated aggressively. Luckily for me, I live in a state where there is access to medical marijuana. A few of my doctors made sure I knew how to get a medical marijuana card. He assured me that medical cannabis products would be a big help in my work. I just didn’t realize on what level the medical marijuana would be helping. Without a doubt, medical cannabis has helped me with appetite so I can help my body by eating healthy food. And yet, medical cannabis also gives me a sense of perspective. I’m able to embrace a positivity that I hadn’t been able to find since my diagnosis.
