Thinking I might take a swing at legal marijuana growing
The news out of Virginia recently put a big smile on our face. Not only is the governor attempting to stream line the new legislation legalizing recreational marijuana, growing cannabis would be legal as well. Of course, it would only be enjoy grow box size plus for personal use. But still, what a quantum leap from just a few years ago. This is just further evidence that legal marijuana is here to stay. And it’s only going to continue to spread. Before long, recreational marijuana use will be legal across the country. So for those of us who have done a bit of marijuana cultivation, the thought of pot farming for a living is a undoubtedly intriguing idea. I have had a small grow room on our property for a long time. I don’t sell the any marijuana from our little grow room. It’s for personal use plus I share with friends plus relatives. Over the years, I have developed a undoubtedly nice strain while cultivating cannabis. And it’s this strain that I would undoubtedly much enjoy to market. It’s just that there would be some real hurdles for me. Mainly, it would be being able to grow marijuana enough to offset the license fees plus beginning up costs. It would absolutely take everything that I currently have saved. However, the system of pot farming as our livelihood is just an amazing idea. And I assume that the particular strain I have been able to develop is something that I could sell to dispensaries plus other outlets. But again a commercial grow op is a lot greater deal than having a grow room on your property.
