There were billboards all over the city for pot shops
My sister and I went to a show in the city.
- It was our first time in the city and things were definitely different then the country.
There were a lot more cars and people in the city. There were a lot more stores, restaurants, bars, and shops. One thing that surprised my sister was the number of recreational marijuana dispensaries. There are no recreational marijuana dispensaries in our hometown, even though recreational marijuana is legal in the whole state. We live in a place that still practices traditional values. I thought it might be fun to go inside the recreational marijuana dispensary, but my sister freaked out when she found out that they needed to scan our drivers license. She was afraid that they would keep a record of her visit to the marijuana dispensary and she didn’t want anyone in our hometown to think that she was a drug addict. I tried to reason with my sister. After all, there were billboards all over the city for pot shops and marijuana dispensaries. We weren’t committing any crime by going into the shop. My sister didn’t agree. I certainly didn’t want to go into the store by myself, so I never got to see inside of the marijuana dispensary. I think it would have been a lot of fun though. I looked at some of the pictures online and it looks like a gas station or convenience store. The shelves are lined with colorful products and they have a little bit of something for everyone. I wish my sister would have been a little more adventurous.
