Next month on the 1st, recreational marijuana will go into effect

During the November election, there were a lot of different laws on the ballot. One of those laws was to add recreational marijuana to the list of legal substances on the state registry. Recreational marijuana was on the ballot 4 years ago and it needed 60% of the voting to pass. The ballot only got 58% of the vote. A lot more people have joined the medical marijuana registry and this year the vote passed with 88% of the state voting with an affirmative yes to legalize. Next month on the 1st, sale of recreational marijuana will go into effect. I am really excited to be able to buy recreational marijuana in the dispensary. Right now there is very little selection as far as medical marijuana is concerned and the state limits THC in those products to 20%. Once recreational marijuana is legalized and into effect, there will be no limit as to the amount of THC that a product can have. I’m trying not to spend very much money on medical marijuana, because everyone knows that the prices on marijuana are going to be lower as soon as recreational marijuana is legalized. In fact, many of the medical marijuana clinics have already begun to lower their prices. Last week I got eighths of dried marijuana flower for $15 each. I’ve never seen marijuana flower at that low price in the past and I have been a medical marijuana patient for the past 3 years. I also look forward to being able to purchase a variety of different products like tankers, edibles, chocolates, and distillates.
