My son bought one of the new franchises I was offering for my cannabis dispensary business.
I told him he needed cannabis time and attendance software.
He looked at me oddly and asked why he couldn’t use the old time clocks. With cannabis time and attendance software, you had a better look at who was working when and where. You could easily see when the employees were coming and going, and along with other computer programs, you would know where you needed more employees and where you needed fewer employees. My son looked at me like I was crazy. For someone so young, I expected him to know more about computers and programs that were made to make your life less difficult. He told me he could do all that by looking at the time clocks and inputting information into the spreadsheets. With the software, you could input the information into the spreadsheets with the touch of one button. When he still didn’t understand the importance of specialized software for cannabis dispensaries, I gave up. He wasn’t as smart as I thought he was, and I was afraid to let him solely own one of my cannabis franchises. I told him I would put him in as manager, but I wanted to have another store manager come in and show him how to use all the software, and not just the time and attendance software. He wasn’t happy, and I thought he would change his mind, but I was wrong. I’m not sure if he’ll ever come around to believing how much easier it is to use the time and attendance software or any software, but I’m going to let him try for at least three months.
