My girlfriend was really upset with me last weekend and now I have to do something to make up for being such a big jerk.
- One of my friends from college came to town to spend 3 days with me.
He wasn’t going to be able to be there for the wedding due to a business engagement. He still wanted to celebrate the wedding, so he came to town for a couple of days and we went deep sea fishing, hiking, and scuba diving. We tried to fit as much fun into the weekend as possible. I completely forgot that my girlfriend had plans for us to eat cake and choose the flavors for our wedding. I got high on recreational marijuana with Jack because the two of us were supposed to spend the afternoon fishing. My girlfriend called me and she reminded me about the cake tasting. When she asked me if I was high, I panicked and lied and said no. Of course, I showed up to the tasting and it was clear that I was under the influence of recreational marijuana. My girlfriend scoffed at me and she gave Jack a dirty look too. He went back to his hotel instead of waiting for me to finish up. I tried every single piece of cake that the bakery put in front of me. Maybe my taste buds weren’t the best, but I liked everything. My girlfriend had a tough choice deciding on the chocolate, vanilla, or hazelnut filling and apparently I was absolutely no help at all with the decision.
