Marijuana and retirement fit hand in hand

Being retired turns out to be far better than I thought it was going to be.

I’m awfully thankful for that fact.

Initially, I was really afraid of retiring. My dad was one of those guys who died like three years after he retired. But thanks to the local cannabis spot and my new surroundings, I have plenty to keep me interested. My career was indeed a passion. And I’m so thankful that I was able to provide well for my wife and children thanks to that job. Still, so much of my identity was entwined with my career. So walking away from that job was no easy thing to do. Thankfully, we moved to a state where recreational marijuana is legal. This was not exactly the main reason we moved to this area but it sure didn’t hurt. Enjoying cannabis products legally has been awesome. Plus, we are now in a region where there sun is shining much of the year and we are getting outside all the time. My wife and I both love the fact that we can also just stop by the cannabis dispensary in order to shop for marijuana for sale. I’m more of a sativa strains sort of guy. My wife, on the other hand, is really into enjoying the indica side of the marijuana spectrum. Yet, we both really enjoy simply splitting an edible and going for a sunset walk. Being retired really isn’t at all as scary as I thought it would be. I wasn’t so sure that I’d be able to keep busy or interested. But I’m doing more things now that I have an interest in than I’ve ever done before. Still, I love the fact that I can dip into the local cannabis spot for a bit of sativa products.
