I had a very merry Christmas at the cannabis dispensary

At the start of December I was in a dark, deep depression. Not only did I not care about the Christmas holidays, but I didn’t care about anything. I won’t go into my personal misfortunes, but suffice to say the divorce hit me pretty hard. My oldest and dearest friend is named Ed, a man I have known for over 20 years. Ed decided to fly into town and spend the holiday with me. It had been a while since I had seen Ed, and almost immediately he managed to cheer me up. Once he got off the plane, our first stop was the local cannabis dispensary. At the time I was living clean and sober, mostly because my wife always had an issue with me smoking marijuana. “Happy wife, happy life” means that I stopped smoking cannabis because it made her happy. Now that she was out of the picture there was no reason not to cut loose and have a little fun, so I made a few purchases at the cannabis dispensary myself. Ed loaded up on vape products and cannabis edibles, but I went right for the strongest, most potent sativa strains the store had in stock. I bought several different flavors of sativa, ranging in strength from 14$ to 31% THC content. The rest of Ed’s stay was lost in a heavy cloud of pungent cannabis smoke. I don’t remember much, but I know we laughed a lot. Now that Ed has gone, I still have half an ounce of cannabis left over, but it’s not as much fun without him.
