I could see a lady smoking weed from the restaurant window
My sister and I went out for lunch on Wednesday. We decided to go to a new restaurant in the village. The place serves the best soup in the city. They also serve a variety of hot and cold sandwiches. My sister and I didn’t have to wait very long before we were seated. We got a table near the back of the restaurant. I put my jacket on the back of the chair. When I got up to turn around, my eyes caught the eyes of a person who was sitting outside of the restaurant. The woman was sitting on a bench and I could tell that she was smoking weed. Even though it’s legal to smoke weed in this state, it’s still very odd and strange to see someone smoking in public. It’s not exactly legal to light up a joint on the street or in a restaurant. The woman continued to smoke the marijuana joint, despite the fact that people were walking by. I said something to my sister about the lady outside. When our server came to the table to take our order, my sister mentioned the marijuana smoker outside. The woman asked if we were sure that the person was smoking marijuana. When both of us confirmed, she contacted the manager and the manager went outside to speak with the woman. A few minutes later, I saw the lady leave the property. My sister and I weren’t trying to cause any problems. We simply thought it was strange to see a person smoking marijuana and sitting right outside of the restaurant like it was no big deal at all.
