I could odor the marijuana from the greeting area.
I didn’t know what to expect when I first walked into a marijuana dispensary, however it wasn’t this, and as soon as I walked into the greeting area, my senses were assaulted with the odor of marijuana; I thought the odor would only be there when you were using it.
I didn’t realize the odor would be coming from the plant, then had I thought about it, I would have known that plants provide off the odor, my flowers don’t just odor wonderful when you sniff the flower, however the entire plant has a distinctive odor, plus so does marijuana.
I told them I was surprised to odor the marijuana so strongly when I walked in the door, and the girl at the counter laughed. According to her, several people were taken aback when they first walked in. It is a bit overwhelming to be greeted by the odor of marijuana when it had been illegal for so long! Your first time at a marijuana dispensary is overwhelming enough to begin with. I had to laugh, knowing she was right, and she said you get used to it after a while. I wasn’t sure I was going to get used to it, however if I wanted to go to the marijuana dispensary once in a while, I had no choice! When I got home, my mother turned her nose up plus walked away. I asked her if I had done something wrong. She sniffed plus told me I odored like marijuana, plus it odored worse than she remembered from when she was a teenager.
