Don’t give up on cannabis if edibles don’t work out for you

My dad taught me from a young age that we don’t always enjoy something that we love the very first time we try it. This is especially true for food. For whatever strange reason, I didn’t like pizza the first two times my parents gave it to me. And out of some strange other world, it took them giving me Hawaiian pizza for me to develop an addiction for pizza in general. Nowadays I’ll eat it with any topping you are willing to throw on it that’s edible and not going to put me in the hospital. That’s after an incident with ghost peppers when I literally thought I was going to die! However, pizza isn’t the only example that comes to mind of something that I started loving immensely after initial distaste. Lots of bands were like this when I heard them for the first time, like the Cars for example. Now I have a lot of nostalgia for their songs. But a recent example that comes to mind is edible cannabis. Cannabis edibles take up to an hour or longer to take effect and usually stay active in the body for twice as long as smoked or vaporized cannabis. When I tried cannabis edibles the first few times, I didn’t notice that many effects and was quick to write them off. I assumed that I couldn’t get any medical value out of them, but I’m glad that I tried RSO before giving up on cannabis edibles. Compared to something like cannabis distillate oil, RSO contains many of the cannabinoids, terpenes, fats, and lipids that are stripped from the former during the extraction process. That’s why experienced cannabis edibles aficionados will often recommend RSO over any other kind of edible cannabis.
