CBD for chronic pain

When I started college gymnastics, I did not realize it would follow me most of my life.

The experiences are ones that I will forever remember, at one point I thought the pain would be as well. After college I experienced terrible shoulder, hip and foot pain due to tumbling. My chronic pain got to the point that I was unable to work out. I could hardly get up out of bed. Long car rides were horrible for me and I would frequently have to crawl to get around. Going to the doctor did not prove to be very helpful. I got massages, tried stretching and eating anti-inflammatory foods. In my research online I found that a lot of people rely on CBD for medical uses. They use CBD to treat depression, stress and anxiety. A ton of people also rely on CBD to manage pain levels. I was not completely optimistic that CBD from the marijuana plant could do anything. But, I was desperate for some relief and went to a cannabis dispensary. The budtender recommended a CBD oil. He told me to put a few drops in my morning coffee and then in my tea right before I go to bed. There is no THC in the product so I wouldn’t be feeling high at all. The most the CBD would do was mellow me out. I don’t even notice the oil in my drink or feel any effects. The only thing I have noticed is that my pain levels have never been so small. I am able to work out again and sit for a portion of time!
