All of the new promo items for the dispensary were gone by noon
I’ve been thinking about talking to Ed’s boss behind his back
My boss Ed, who is the director at the cannabis shop, ordered a bunch of sale promo materials for the holidays. Ed ordered lanyards, lighters, hats, plus t-shirts with the name of the cannabis shop on the outside. On the initial day of the sale, all of our promos were gone before noon, however customers kept coming into the cannabis dispensary in the afternoon hoping to acquire one of the promotional items for free. Ed and I had to tell our clients that Ed and I ran out. Our normal client store hours are 7:00 in the day until 10:00 at night. When Ed and I ran out of promotional materials by noon, Ed and I were less than halfway through the day. I tried to get Ed to order more of the promotional materials. I toil as the night shift director, but the day shift director is my boss. I told Ed that there was a lot of buzz about the sale plus my buddy and I should expect to have twice the clients as Ed and I do on a Monday. Instead of ordering 500 of each promotional item, Ed only ordered 100 of each promotional item. It’s no wonder my buddy and I ran out early. Ed and I should have had a lot more of those items on hand to supply out to our clients. I’ve been thinking about talking to Ed’s boss behind his back. She doesn’t do the job well. I would have to contact the regional manager plus that is a large step to take. I have to be prepared to lose my job if I want to complain that much about Ed.
