All of the cannabis sale items were gone by noon
Mona, my boss at the cannabis shop ordered a bunch of sale promos for the holidays.
Mona ordered lanyards, lighters, hats, in addition to cool t-shirts with the name of the cannabis shop on the outside.
On the first afternoon of the sale, all of the promos were gone by noon, customers were still coming into the weed dispensary in the afternoon hoping to receive one of the promotional items for free. Mona and I had to tell our clients that my buddy and I ran out. Our normal customer store hours are from 7:00 in the afternoon until 10:00 at night. When Mona and I ran out of the promotional materials by noon, my buddy and I were less than halfway through the afternoon. I tried to get Mona to order more of the promotional materials. I work as the night shift manager, however Mona is the afternoon shift manager and my boss. I told the manager that there was a ton of buzz about the sale in addition to my buddy and I should expect to have twice the clients as Mona and I do on a Sunday. Instead of ordering 500 of each promotional item, my boss only ordered 100 more of each promotional item. It’s no wonder my buddy and I ran out early. Mona and I should have had a lot more of those items on hand to give out to our clients. I’ve been thinking about talking to Mona’s boss behind her back. She doesn’t do the job well. I would have to contact the regional manager but that is a big step to take. I have to be prepared to lose my job if I want to complain that much about Mona.
