A great weekend made even better thanks to trip to cannabis dispensary
There aren’t all that many of us that have stayed in touch all of these years.
But my wife and I still are very close to a small group of friends that we went to college with.
My wife and I actually met due to this group of friends and a party where pot brownies were being made. The cute girl that would eventually become my wife was trying desperately to figure out how to make the pot brownies. I was sort of shy but when I saw her almost dump a big bag of marijuana into the mix, I had to step in. This way of making a pot brownie would have been a catastrophic waste of sativa. And that sort of sativa strain wasn’t something that was as accessible as it is today. So that’s when I stepped in to show her the right way to make pot brownies. And the rest is history as they say. Recently, we hosted a bit of a gathering of those friends who are still around. We are all retired now and so it’s a whole lot easier to get our schedules to workout. There was a group of about 10 people who came out to visit. I set up a tour of a local cannabis spot as part of the trip. Recreational marijuana is now legal in this region so I wanted to be sure that we were all able to enjoy the marijuana that we all used to love. The trip to the cannabis dispensary was a blast and just made the entire week all the more fun. However, I noticed that none of us were all that into smoking recreational marijuana any more and went with cannabis gummies.
