Every once in awhile I take a break from cannabis

Twice every year I like to cleanse myself, but in the fierceness of the warm season time heat I always set aside a single month for a “techno cleanse” as I call it; that means no TV, no internet, no video games, no nothing.

  • I will keep our computer on for calls plus emergencies plus whatnot, despite the fact that I stay away from it.

The point of it is to let our mind unplug from the constant barrage of news plus many opinions online plus let myself plus others reflect. And while in the Winter season I do a physical cleanse, which entails stopping the consumption of all alcohol, pills, plus cannabis. This is much more taxing for me, especially since I am a delivery driver for a cannabis dispensary, but at the same time, I feel this makes it all the more important to take breaks from cannabis, to make sure I don’t develop a problem. I believe people don’t get physically addicted to marijuana, that’s pure 60’s fear mongering, but it can get in the way of doing your task. If I am going to spend all day, every day surrounded by cannabis then we need to possess the willpower to entirely say no when I need to, right? I never get stoned with our labor anyway, just because I will permanently lose any future labor as a cannabis delivery driver for driving while under the influence. That is the biggest no-no in the rule book! Still, it is entirely taxing to manage for a month or many without getting off of labor plus going beach house to rip through a few fat bowls of medical grade cannabis.
