A bit of a crush on the cannabis delivery person

Quarantine feels something like a time loop, doesn’t it? Of course I had a schedule previously.

Things I did every day and every week on an official basis, and that felt different.

Every single day wasn’t really the same as the day before. Now I lose track of what day it is all of the time, and find myself consulting the calendar regularly. I work from home, I shop from home, and I never entirely leave my dwelling. There is nothing to differentiate the days of the week. Every day is pretty much the same, except for Wednesdays, when I get my cannabis delivery from the dispensary. This last time was a shock to the system, because the cannabis delivery driver was entirely different from the young guy who had been driving since the beginning of the lockdown. It was a complete shock because first of all that cannabis dispensary employee was fantastic. He had made every single delivery since the beginning of lockdown. Over the course of time with my cannabis transactions, I started to develop some rapport with this guy. So I was a bit upset to see a different young man holding my cannabis package, although my disappointment was tempered by the fact that I had a fresh supply of marijuana in my hands. I didn’t want to even ask about the guy with the cannabis dispensary, seeing as how it would make me seem like a stalker. I am sincerely hoping and praying that this week when the cannabis comes to my front door, it’s in the hands of that same young guy I have developed rapport with.
