Making a podcast from cannabis and horror films
I have two amazing loves in the world, & neither one of them is my girlfriend.
- She is a fantastic lady, & I do prefer her, but she’s been in the picture for a few weeks, while my two amazing loves have been around since I was a teenager.
They have gotten me through thick & thin, & are deeply ingrained as a huge part of who I am. I honestly hope that my girlfriend is around forever, although I know with 100% certainty that weed & horror films will always be the ticket for me. To this end, I am beginning a podcast about cannabis & horror films called Dazed & Contused. A little esoteric for a stoner-cast, I suppose, although I guess my blend of cannabis based high brow humor will find a market soon enough! Not all stoners are fools, a lot of genuinely serious, genuinely smart, genuinely ambitious people smoke cannabis all of the time, present company included. I sincerely doubt my show will appeal to the slackers out there, although I do guess it will appeal to horror fans that don’t actually use cannabis. I don’t actually think cannabis is a lifestyle, or a religion, I feel as though it is a fun thing to help relax your mind & appreciate life a little more. Cannabis is a tool I use to help me get more enjoyment out of horror films, but the focus of the show will definitely be horror films… Of course I will let the audience choose how the show evolves, & if people want more cannabis-based content, then I will deliver the people what they wish for!
