The shirts sold out in less than a day
This year for the Halloween season, the marijuana dispensary ordered a bunch of different t-shirts.
- Some of the t-shirts had pumpkins and some of the t-shirts had a skull and bones.
Each one of the shirts had our name and our logo on the front with the picture of the pumpkin or skull and bones on the back. The t-shirts arrived the day before Halloween. I took them out of the box and arranged all of the different sizes. Everything was ready to go for the next morning. We also had Halloween pre-roll marijuana joints that were available too. These joints were available for only a dollar with any purchase. I stacked the t-shirts in the front of the lobby. Before noon, most of the shirts were sold out. The soft, cotton texture of the T-shirt was a huge hit with lots of our customers. We probably should have sold the t-shirts for more than $15. When the shirts were gone, we didn’t have any more promotional items to offer to the customers. We ran out of pre rolls before the end of the day too. I don’t know how we planned so poorly for the holiday. I ordered the same supplies as last year and we had plenty then. A lot of people were pretty upset when they got to the dispensary and we were already out of the special Halloween shirts. If I had known they were going to sell out that quickly, I would have charged twice as much and I would have ordered twice as many shirts.
