The guys thought marijuana sounded like a ton of fun
A couple of my co-workers and I went on a business trip and the boss put us up in a hotel for a couple of nights.
While we were in the city, we had to attend a seminar.
When the seminar was over a day, we could do anything that we wanted with our time. I wanted to see a couple of museums and I was very interested in going to an exhibit at the art gallery. Most of the guys that I work with were not very interested in the cultural activities and places that the city had to offer. We were in a state with legal recreational marijuana and the first thing they wanted to do was smoke pot and get high. I certainly wasn’t going to stop them or say anything to keep them from having a good time. Even though I didn’t want to smoke weed, I didn’t care that they wanted to do that. The very first night we were in the hotel, the guys ordered marijuana from a local delivery service. The delivery driver actually brought marijuana right to the hotel. It was one of the craziest things that I have ever seen. The guys gave the driver a really big tip. As soon as the guy was going, the guy’s got out the marijuana supplies. They were going to light up one of the marijuana joints in the room until I reminded them that we were in a non-smoking room. I told them that they better go outside unless they want our boss to be slapped with an extra cleaning fee for smoking in the room.
