Medical and recreational marijuana dispensary has been busy all week. It is our one year anniversary on Saturday and we have had a special sale everyday of the week. The only way customers know about the sale is if they come to the cannabis shop. We aren’t advertising any of the sales online. Yesterday the sale was on all of the edible cookie products. Each one of the Edibles were buy one and get the second product for half price. The shop was busy with people all day. Today we had a special on all of the cannabis concentrate products. Cannabis concentrate can be vaped or inhaled. Cannabis concentrates like live resin and batter are a favorite among recreational and medical marijuana smokers. They have great flavors like grape and orange soda. I am looking forward to Saturday. That is when the actual one year celebration will take place. All items in stock will be 25% off on that day. We have a DJ from the radio station that will be here and we are having several different food trucks to cater the event. If a customer makes a purchase of $100 or more in the cannabis dispensary, then they will qualify to receive a free item from one of the food trucks outside. This is probably a bigger celebration than we did when the store opened. I think it is going to attract a lot of attention in town. That attention will lead to more sales in the future and potential growth in the community that could lead to a second cannabis dispensary location.

Each one of the shirts had our name and our logo on the front with the picture of the pumpkin or skull and bones on the back. The t-shirts arrived the day before Halloween. I took them out of the box and arranged all of the different sizes. Everything was ready to go for the next morning. We also had Halloween pre-roll marijuana joints that were available too. These joints were available for only a dollar with any purchase. I stacked the t-shirts in the front of the lobby. Before noon, most of the shirts were sold out. The soft, cotton texture of the T-shirt was a huge hit with lots of our customers. We probably should have sold the t-shirts for more than $15. When the shirts were gone, we didn’t have any more promotional items to offer to the customers. We ran out of pre rolls before the end of the day too. I don’t know how we planned so poorly for the holiday. I ordered the same supplies as last year and we had plenty then. A lot of people were pretty upset when they got to the dispensary and we were already out of the special Halloween shirts. If I had known they were going to sell out that quickly, I would have charged twice as much and I would have ordered twice as many shirts.

My buddy and I drove across the country, because all of his stuff was in a storage unit on the west coast.

He was in the military and he left as soon as he was discharged.

Going back for all of his things was an afterthought. I offered to drive with the guy as long as he paid for all of the gas and tolls. We each paid for our own food. I spent about $300 on food. I’m going to participate in a triathlon at the end of October. I will have to Bicycle, run, and swim. I am a strong cyclist and my running times are pretty good too. I’ve never been a very strong swimmer. I find it very difficult to hold my breath underwater. I’m in great shape, but for some reason I have trouble with swimming. I went to a special trainer to work on different breathing techniques that will help extend my breathing. I met with the trainer for the first time on Monday. When my brother and his girlfriend broke up, he was devastated and really depressed.

My sister and I felt bad that he was all alone, so we packed up the car and drove 12 hours to see the guy.

I knew the drive was going to be long and monotonous. I packed six of my favorite CD’s into the disc changer in my car. My sister brought a couple of her favorite albums as well. I also brought marijuana for the trip. I think one of the reasons why my brother was having a tough time was due to not being able to access legal marijuana. I was just too close to a full on pain pill addiction. That’s just the truth of the matter and it scares me to the core. Thanks to the cannabis dispensary, I’m okay now. When I was discharged from the hospital after a terrible car accident, I came home with some prescriptions for pain meds. Of course, I’d heard of the opioid epidemic in our country but I really didn’t connect that with my situation. I was recovering from surgery to my back and that was part of it.
