My state is not going to get recreational cannabis for a long time
There used to be a lot of diversity of opinion in this state back when I was a kid. The people I was with and I had folks moving in from all over the country, no matter what the background was or economic status. It was nice to think love you could belong out here if you lived in a big enough town because you’d eventually find love minded folks, fun art plus tunes scenes, plus exciting locations to hang out on the weekends to chat with people from all walks of life. But in the past more than five years or so, this state has been trending towards 1 certain political direction plus it’s making it strenuous on some of us. I don’t know a state’s populace is being fulfilled when a tiny majority of the people here are making decisions for most people. It leads to resentment plus frustration among those who think they have no representation of advocates in the state government. For instance, we passed medical cannabis with over 72% of the vote, showing a clear plus decisive majority across the whole voting electorate. Yet our state government has done nothing however make it harder for our medical marijuana program to succeed with their ongoing list of rules plus regulations that grow by the month. I doubt we’ll see recreational cannabis in this state for at least another 8 or several years. I’d still be surprised to see recreational cannabis in this state even if the federal government decriminalized marijuana tomorrow. Our state government has made it clear that they don’t suppose in following the rule of law when it comes to marijuana, even if they’re the 1s that craft or sign the laws in the first location.
